About Us

Bojangles started as a small coffee shop in the centre of town 16 years ago with just two staff members and a small turnover per month.

Today Bojangles operates out of two centres namely EP Rugby (EPRU Stadium) and EP Cricket (St Georges Park). We have a staff complement of 25, and we are extremely proud of the fact that we have an extremely low staff turnover.

From this small beginning we have risen to be:

•  On the panel of Municipal Caterers (Civil caterer)

•  A Spoornet Caterer, with a category 1 rating (this is the highest rating given by Spoornet)

•  Bojangles is a recognised caterer at the Feather Market Centre

•  We are linked to the City Lodge, Courtyard and Paxton Hotels

•  We are members of Fedhasa and PERCCI

•  Bojangles also formed part of the discussion panel for SAACI

•  We are the preferred caterer for the Spar Distribution Centre in the Eastern Cape

Over and above what we have achieved we would like to highlight a few of the most prestigious and successful functions we have catered for recently, namely –

•  VW 50 th Jubilee hosted by the Feather Market Centre

•  OSSA Conference

•  Mayors induction Dinner 2 years running

•  Dr Govan Mbeki's funeral

•  Launch of the new VW test track in conjunction of Inkanyezi Event Organisers

•  UNESCO Conference

•  Educational Conference in conjunction with UPE

•  University of Port Elizabeth and PE Technikon Colour Awards

•  UPE Academic Awards Dinner

•  New Vehicle Launch for Daimler Chrysler

•  Dental Congress at the Feather Market Centre for 600 persons

Generally speaking, Bojangles caters for and organises on average two weddings per week, approximately seven functions a week averaging 200 people per function – and we cater for about eight functions/launches per day for the business sector.

Lastly we operate a fleet of up to four delivery vehicles, all prominently branded with our corporate logo which gives us a great deal of exposure in and around Nelson Mandela Metro pole.

Sponsorships

· The EP Children’s Home – whenever there is food left over from function, we will deliver it to the
home with the compliments of the company holding the function.

· We sponsor the school clothing of two children from randomly selected schools each year. This is an anonymous donation, as only the school knows who the sponsor is.

· Bojangles sponsors Progress Rugby Club in Uitenhage, as well as –
· EP U/19

· Hillcrest Primary School (with a Trophy & money)
· Sport Bursary – for UPE

· Sponsorship for Technikon Netball for the past two years

· City Lodge Golf Day

· NSRI
